JULY 4-6, 2003
Hellfest 2003 was, hands down, the most fun and organized edition of this
annual Syracuse metal and hardcore outing. Named after the typical summer
weather conditions in Syracuse, NY, Hellfest has steadily grown into a
high-caliber showcase of who's who in the metal and hardcore world, right
alongside the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. This year's was
nothing short of brilliant, with my only primary complaint being that there
wasn't enough time in the day to see the multitudes of bands that I wanted
to check out. For a full analysis of the fest, check out the pictures and
review in this week's edition of Metal Judgment. See what you missed, or
reflect on the great time you had.
